About Soket AI
Soket is a research-first firm headquartered in Bengaluru, with a mission to innovate and advance the frontiers of technology, responsibly. We are developing large-scale foundation AI models in mathematics, code, and reasoning that are multilingual, inclusive, and responsible by design. Our systems are designed to ensure that the most sensitive intelligence remains under the ownership and authority of the institutions that generate and depend on it.
Our work spans large language models, multimodal systems, speech technologies, reasoning and agentic systems, and large-scale AI infrastructure, with a strong focus on open research and practical deployment. We believe AI should be accessible, scalable, and aligned with real-world societal needs—and are committed to building systems that are useful, trustworthy, and globally impactful.
What this role is
This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of AI solution architecture, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder management. You will be the technical and strategic bridge between what Soket builds and what our stakeholders need—working closely with research, engineering, deployed engineering, and sales teams to translate complex requirements into technically feasible AI solutions and build the partnerships required to take them from initial conversation to successful deployment and long-term relationships.
You will engage with stakeholders across governments, enterprises, startups, system integrators, cloud providers, academia, and non-profits. The role requires technical depth across foundation models and agentic systems, commercial judgement to identify viable partnership models, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and bring diverse parties towards alignment.
Workloads you would be involved in
Own engagements from initial discovery and use-case definition through solution architecture, proposal/RFP, PoC/pilot design, and transition towards deployment and long-term partnership.
- Build deep expertise in Soket's AI stack, product capabilities, and technical roadmap, and work with Deployed Engineers and core model teams to identify use cases, scope PoCs and long-term projects, and architect implementable solutions aligned with Soket's capabilities and roadmap.
- Draft technically credible proposals, RFP/EoI responses, client documentation, product narratives, and other materials that communicate Soket's capabilities and proposed solutions clearly.
- Identify, build, and manage relationships across central and state governments, startups, enterprises, system integrators, CoEs, cloud partners, hyperscalers, academic and research institutes, and non-profits.
- Track government RFPs, industry developments, AI/ML research, technological innovations, and policy shifts. Capture recurring client requirements, product gaps, and deployment learnings and translate them into actionable inputs for product and technical roadmaps.
- Work with the Sales team to manage partnership engagements, convert them into recurring revenue opportunities, and support account renewal and expansion.
- Represent Soket in stakeholder meetings, events, conferences, and other external engagements as a key member of the Partnerships vertical.
- Build reusable solution assets and organizational frameworks—including reference architectures, case studies, proposal templates, product decks, and solution guides—that improve the efficiency and quality of future engagements.
- Contribute to organisational research, white papers, technical discussions, and events.
- Support the onboarding, mentoring, and development of a high-performing Partnerships team, and contribute to other organisational initiatives as required.
You are a good fit if you:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in stakeholder management or GTM within an enterprise technology, B2B SaaS, or AI company.
- Have experience architecting and owning end-to-end AI solutions, especially high-order logical, agentic use cases for government or enterprise clients and can develop solution and deployment approaches across diverse domains, within the organisation's technical capabilities.
- Have working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, agentic frameworks, on-premise/VPC deployments, cloud architectures, and enterprise integration patterns. You don't need to be an ML engineer, but you should be technically curious and capable of understanding how foundation models, inference systems, agentic harnesses, deployment architectures, and enterprise integrations work well enough to architect credible solutions with engineering teams.
- Can work across different partnership models—including joint GTM, co-development, technical integrations, strategic collaborations, and direct sales—and determine the appropriate model for each engagement.
- Are comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments, and can adapt your approach as organisational priorities, GTM strategy, and partnership opportunities evolve.
- Keep up with AI/ML industry and research as well as government policy updates and can translate relevant developments into inputs for product and organisational roadmaps.
- Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders while holding substantive technical conversations with engineering teams and technical leads.
- Enjoy working at the intersection of technology, research, and stakeholder management, and are motivated by building AI solutions with real-world impact.
- Are proactive and take ownership. You value clear direction, but are comfortable defining the path forward independently in ambiguous situations.
You are a strong candidate if you have experience with:
- A demonstrated track record of owning end-to-end technical solutions for strategic customers and partners, with measurable impact on successful deployments, product adoption, customer retention, and account expansion.
- Government procurement frameworks and drafting EoI/RFP responses.
- Building and managing relationships with enterprise and technology stakeholders.
- Navigating complex, ambiguous stakeholder conversations and aligning stakeholders with differing mandates, priorities, and objectives.
- Taking initiative in unfamiliar situations, remaining optimistic through challenges, and demonstrating a strong willingness to learn.
Why work with Soket?
At Soket, you will work on problems that only a handful of teams in the world are solving today—building and delivering carefully crafted AI solutions for high-stakes stakeholders from a frontier foundation-model development company. You will see first-hand how intelligence is built into large models, how the stacks powering modern AI systems are designed, and how that intelligence can be packaged into practical solutions for real-world clients.
As part of a lean organisation, you will work closely with researchers, engineers, and domain experts while interacting with a diverse set of external stakeholders. For some, you may be their first point of contact with Soket. One day, you might be defining a cybersecurity solution for a financial-sector client in close coordination with the LLM team; the next, you might be working with a government department Secretary to shape a feasible AI solution and close a pilot engagement.
We are a deeply research-driven and engineering-focused team that loves nerding out about systems, scaling laws, training stacks, AI research, and solution engineering. If you enjoy going deep into technical problems, navigating challenging partnership conversations, and learning from highly talented researchers and engineers, you will feel right at home here. Most importantly, we are building efficient, open, and accessible AI systems from India, for humanity as a whole.
If this sounds exciting to you, come build the future with us.
